Bartlett, 17J, Model 1883, 14K gold HC recase with beautiful engraving detail including a majestic buck scene to rear, front shield with initials, fancy pink enamel SS impressed dial with ornate gold foil Arabic numerals in radial orientation set against "telephone" style darker pink circles, gold foil minute markers and decorative accents, SW-LS, nickel damascene, s#7132580. Gross weight of assembled watch 83.6 dwt (130.0 g). A notably beautiful watch with its ornate case having crisp engraving detail and with its unusual pink fancy dial in flawless condition.
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, excellent-plus cosmetic mvt condition overall, bright lustrous plates, small marring around balance cock screw, oxide to regulator assembly; virtually flawless dial with only a few small fine scratches within seconds-register; fine hands, minute with oxide to tip; case shows hardly any wear, subtle soft dent toward left perimeter of front, mild small dent to cuvette perimeter adjacent pendant, superb engraving detail, front hinge missing one end-cap; tight bow, crown shows little wear; good glass crystal.
